Eleanor’s Song: Who’s the Lord of the Ocean Deep?**

Morning light danced across the waves as Lady Eleanor lifted her voice in song. The sea breeze carried her melody over the water, and even the gulls seemed to pause and listen. Children gathered at her feet, their eyes wide with wonder as she sang:

“Who’s the Lord of the ocean deep? Who commands the waves that leap?”

Eleanor smiled as she held up a sand dollar, its star-shaped center glowing in the sun. “The sea is mighty,” she told the children, “but Someone far greater holds it in His hands.”

The waves rolled in with a gentle roar, as if agreeing.

“The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters.” — Psalm 93:4 (KJV)

Eleanor knelt beside the children. “When the waters rise… when life feels loud… when worries crash like waves — remember this: the Lord is stronger still.”

A dolphin leapt in the distance, and the children laughed. Eleanor’s song continued, soft but sure:

“He calms the storm, He guards His sheep, He’s Lord of all — the ocean deep.”

She placed a sand dollar in each child’s hand. “Let this remind you,” she said, “that the One who shapes the seas also shapes your heart. And He never lets go.”

The waves whispered their amen.
